Multiple VAT Rate Cuts on eBooks across the EU

The following Member States have alligned their VAT rates of electronic books and publications with their printed counterparts effective today the 1st January 2020.

• Austria reduces it’s eBook rate to 10%
• Germany reduces it’s eBook rate to 7%
• Netherlands reduces it’s eBook rate to 9%
• Solvenia introduces a new 5% reduced eBook rate

The aformentioned VAT rates have been updated accordingly in our database.
