Belgium cuts VAT rate on e-book sales to 6%

Belgium has cut the rate of VAT on ebook sales from the standard 21% to 6% inline with the harmonisation of e-book VAT rates agreed by EU member states last year. The rate reduction has been back dated to the 1st of April 2019.

Belgium’s VAT rates have been updated accordingly in our database.
